COOL CULTURE FAIR

Each year our partner museums, botanical gardens and zoos send representatives to network with our education partners and to distribute materials that showcase the unique events, exhibitions and activities for children and families taking place at their institutions.

Cool Culture Fair is a starting point to catch the excitement about cultural adventures for families in the City: after, Liaisons go back to their programs and share resources, post materials, decorate their classrooms and family resource rooms with the information provided. Learn more about last year's Fair at the American Museum of Natural History!

Cool Culture's professional development, workshops and training sessions for educators provide Cultural Liaisons with the opportunity to explore one of our partner museums, develop new strategies for engaging families and exchanging with colleagues about best practices.

FIRST TRIPS

Designed to help you address parents' concerns about feeling welcome at the City's cultural institutions, and where to get started once there, First Trips organizes weekend cultural trips for families.
