El Museo del Barrio was founded in 1969 by a group of Puerto Rican educators, artists, parents and community activists. Today, its collections represent the diversity of art and culture in all of Latin America and the Caribbean. Family Days provide free bilingual tours of the galleries and include live performances, hands-on workshops, face painting, and more.
