Invited cohorts of families and educators connect, collaborate and curate their own experiences with art, culture, social impact and civic engagement and create safe spaces to process world events that impact their lives.
Families and educators co-design community activities that center health and wellbeing. Over several months, caretakers, children and educators use the framework #WeAreAllCurators to evolve how they each hold power in curating art in their homes, schools and communities. The groups host art-marking and art viewing sessions called Family Day every month. Recently, Curators for Families’ Brooklyn cohort hosted Family Day with music learning and jewelry making activities.
