Cool Culture has fought to ensure cultural equity and access for almost 20 years, whether this is your first year or your family has been members for multiple years, we welcome you into our community of over 50,000 families.
Have a Cool Culture Family Pass?
- Is available for families with a child currently enrolled in a participating early childhood center or elementary school 3-K, Pre-K and Kindergarten.
- Provides free, general admission to 90 cultural institutions - that's museums, gardens, zoos and more!
- Is valid for unlimited use until the expiration date printed on the front of the card.

What can you expect as a Family Pass Member:
Free General Admission to Museums via the Cool Culture Family Pass.
- All enrolled families and center staff receive a personalized Family Pass. The Pass provides free, general admission for up to 5 people at 90 partner museums, gardens, historical societies, science centers and zoos for one year
- Passes may not be used for group trips or field trips.

Family festivals hosted around the city in partnership with our cultural institution partners.
Days of Action
In partnership with community based organizations and our cultural institution partners, families give back to their communities while engaging in fun and socially relevant art-making.
Networked Community
Join our new facebook family community to connect with other families that are utilizing the pass, share resources, ask questions and make new friends
Enhanced Resources
- In addition to our Family Guide that has shared stories, guides, and resources that our families have enjoyed for years, we are also updating our website to be a fully interactive platform. The platform will help you navigate activities in cultural institutions, connect with families and partners through forums and download resources that include videos and toolkits to enhance your teachinexperience.
- Do It Yourself resources, in addition to mini- lessons and workshops will be available on our social media channels.
Cool Pops & Virtual Tours
Cool Pops are collaborations with our cultural institutions and Cultural Liaisons to craft site-specific activities for families. They provide a warm welcome to families visiting museums in person while Virtual Tours enable families to visit museums without leaving home.
Family Guide
Our multilingual publication provides everything from "How to Use the Family Pass" and "Family Spotlights." Updates will be made quarterly as we continue to identify great resources for families.
