Health + Wellbeing Initiative

Strengthening cross-cultural connections and bringing communities together to create, imagine, and act to inspire collective wellbeing and healing

We Are A Work of Art Health + Wellbeing Initiative

Our Health + Wellbeing Initiative centers holistic wellness — mind, body, spirit and civic wellbeing — by bringing our community into dialogue with BIPOC artists, health practitioners and healers to amplify both cultural and western health practices. We invite our community to co-create spaces to process the challenges in our lives, educate ourselves about the rich diversity of knowledge and ancestral practices, and inspire us all to try out restorative practices from our shared communities.

Create restorative healing spaces with our videos on family yoga with Luz Emma Cañas and breathwork with Baba OluDarė.

A series of free citywide Wellbeing Jamborees offer activities to inspire health and wellbeing including art-making, reading corner with children's books, Community Mapping Project, and information on wellbeing, restorative healing practices, and vaccinations.

With your Family Pass, visit cultural institutions that have partnered with artists to commission and curate exhibitions in response to the unique time we are living in.
