Lunar New Year: Year of the Rooster

May art bring you good fortune! Mark the Year of the Rooster, one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, with performances, interactive gallery activities, and artist-led workshops for visitors of all ages.

This is an event presented in cooperation with The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Location: The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Museum Entrance: 1000 Fifth Avenue at 81 Street, Manhattan

*The Cool Culture table is located in the Museum's Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education

Cool Culture families MUST enter through the street-level entrance at 81st Street.

Directions: Take the 4, 5, or 6 train to 86th Street and walk three blocks west to Fifth Avenue. This walk is about a half mile and takes approximately ten minutes. 

The festival is FREE for Cool Culture's families and for invited guests by RSVP only.  

Cool Culture Alumni: The festival is free with museum's suggested admission; admission is free for children under 12 with an adult.
